    Troubleshooting Cooling Fan Running Nonstop

    My issue is that the cooling fan runs nonstop. It could be -20 outside and the first start of the day, as soon as my key goes to the "ACC" position, the cooling fan kicks on.

    It's causing a few issues;
    1) It's so damn cold out here that it actually threw a code for the coolant being below optimum threshold
    2) It's so damn cold out here, the battery has a hard enough time cranking and turning over the engine. When it's pushing juice to power the fan before I even engage the starter it doesn't have enough power to turn engine over.

    I replaced fuse MR400709, but no dice.

    Would the next step be the coolant temp sensor?

    Anyone ever have a similar issue? I searched the forum and didn't find any posts/threads quite similar to this, most had opposite issues with the fan no turning on and creating an overheat issue......
