    yet another newbie lol

hey everyone, from orlando florida here.

im new to the galant but im not new to mitsubishi or building really fun cars.
i have a 2001 galant es which ive been searching for a really clean one for about 3 months and i finally have it!

i have a built 94 mirage which i got bored with beacuse i wasnt planning on going the boost route so ive been doing crazy amount of research for what my next build DD would be.. at last i stumbled across here.

looking forward to my new project and ive already got a plan in mind thats a little.. maybe overly done/ to much work than its worth?
but youll just have to see i suppose. ill be over to hope onto making a build thread in a little while. ive only owned the car for a week and havent been able to get my hands out of it yet.

Thanks guys and deff worth the wait for a 96k miles previous owners were elderly and kept everything stock. I can tell it was maybe their grandson bend daughter who's done some repairs after having to twice l replace a few wire harnesses and the fact that my grille is held on by 2 screws in the headlight housing hahaha

Eh nothing to crazy. It's obd1 so I had a lot of room to play with.
Weight reduced by 100+ pounds, intake, tb, injectors, cooling system. It really doesn't seem like much but on the 1.5 it took to each thing so well.

It was mostly getting everything to stage 0 I was doing but I feel like I've ran out of time with it and I needed something bigger.
The galant on the other hand I'm really going to dig into. There's only so much you can do with a 4g15 other than build it with 4g93 parts but the 4g64 has way way more potential.

    I've got a 5 year plan.
Year 1. Stage 0, and some stage 1 type of mods including I,h,e and tb
    Year 2. Body, cosmetics, sound
    Year 3. Turbo turbo turbo!
Year 4. Gsx awd set up with evo 8 drive shaft and 5 speed tranny so I can run up the boost higher
Year 5. Enjoy then trade up

I know I'm going to get the whole why not 5 speed now. Well.. because I don't fully know how to drive one and nor does my wife and we share all 3 of our cars. Tranny cooler and darn good maintenance will hold me over with a mild mild boost of a medium size turbo.
