    Just another NEWBLET from the Twin Cities

    Hey everybody!
    Shoutout to buddies SpecialK and Gojirars for sparking my interest in Galants!
    I just picket up my first Galant, a 1999 with 221k miles on her. got her in poor shape and My pal Gojirars is helping bring her back to life!
    I picked it up for $800. The thing had tires so bald, they were fit for a race track. The oil hadn't been changed in over 20k miles and she sounded like she was choking. A little cleaning of the throttle body and replacing the valve cover gasket sure helped that. It has the notorious cracked intake manifold, so I just ordered myself a nice used '03 Outlander manifold and 6g72 Throttle body.
    It's a little rusty! (That's what $800 will get ya in MN) Hope you all like it!

    Welcome! The guys we have on the forums in MN know what they're doing, they should have you covered! Post pics, no matter how messy she looks, it'll be good to see the progress.
