Did all V6 Galants come with 3 Cat Coverters?

Cali-spec came with 2 pre-cats and a main cat.

Fed-spec came with 1 main cat.

I'd love to see the manifolds on the fed spec, I've only dealt with the v6's with precats...

You can see the front manifold in that picture. Rear isnt much different.

Thanks for the confirmation. Mark Mitsubishi of Glendale AZ tried to convince me that all V-6 Galants had 3 cats. I think they just did not know what they were talking about. Thanks again. Now if I could just find a pair of Altezza or TYC 81-5693-00 chrome tail lights for my 8G the world would be perfect.

Those tails won't be hard to find, most think they are horrible, in the past some members practically gave them away.

Only site that I've found that actually sells them along with other jdm taillights. Can't tell you how good they are because I got my altezzas off of Craigslist for 25 bucks for the pair.

Its not that they have problems, no tail light works any different or last longer, its simply a matter of bulb life.

What we mean by horrible is they look awful.

Got you I put led bulbs in, and only reason mine look good is cause my car is silver with silver tint and the fronts are cleared too.

Thanks for the input. I like the clear JDM best. I hope they email me back so I can buy them. The complete front redo on my 2000 V6 is done. Everything replaced. It starts and runs too:)

^ Personally I think the black ones look better but that's also because I blacked out most of my emblems.

^I logged in just to say "lmao". Kinda would be interested to see led tails for our cars. I had em twice for my s14 when I had it but they were pricey and not as durable as oem..but much nicer. I eventually ended up with jdm kouki versions (I had a zenki), so in the end the leds were money wasted

A part of me wants to do an LED retrofit for the JDM tails, but I can't find time to start my headlight retro, so I won't even think about doing the harder LED retro.
