New chick with a new car in Tenneessee

Got a gift from my dad this past Christmas! I know little about cars but very much interested in learning on how to play around and upgrade my 03 Galant! I know this is exactly the place to get all the info too!

What's currently been done to the galant is at the hands of my father. Not bad, but after seeing pics of others, I'm ambitious!

Say hello to my new beauty!

Was a real hoop-d at first! Then my dad put some 18's on low profile tires after he got it painted black and tinted the windows. It's got a lot of repairs mechanically!!! Have all the paperwork but there's way too much to list. Basically he got it running for me! Thanks dad!

And thanks TGC for letting me share!

Body looks like it's in great condition! Don't let anyone kill your ambition with moving forward.
    That being said.

    Personally:
The chrome door handles look good one some cars, but the 8g galant is not one of them IMO.
My take on the 2002-2003 model bumper is to add and integra mugen lip (1999-2000) to the car, it helps the front bumper hide how much it actually sticks out.
I love the projector headlights with the 2002-2003 bumper as well.

    Anyway, happy modding!

Welcome to TGC! Car is looking good, especially the paint. I would look into getting a drop to get rid of the 4X4 stance, and I would try some different wheels, but that's me, you are more than free to mod your car how you want. Enjoy the forums!

You have a really cool dad. Not many dads out there would buy new wheels and opt a paint job before handing the keys. Good start :)
