    Solviss: 7G Resurrection

Woo! Finally I've returned to TGC after being afk for some time.

I'll be making this thread my main progress thread and begin uploading pics :D I'm uploading on mobile which is silly imo and first batch of pics are from my phone lol.

First day that I lowered my car

How she sat back in January

Lowered on Emusa coilovers,Okay quality for the price imo

My Crew haha, the only non-truck

    Vr4 strut bar :D

I have more to post but I need to find my old SD card. They'll will probably be up later tonight or tomorrow.

As of today my decision between Jdm and Worldspec heads has leaded towards the Worldspecs. I've already purchased the corner lights and i'm in the process of buying the headlights.

In the meantime I've been collecting some parts for my turbo :D
    - Manifold
    -o2 Housing
    - Used Td05 (Needs definite rebuild)
    - Dsm J-pipe

    Update May 2014

    My wheel choice

    Emotion Cr Kai
Or some replica, Drag wheels or Rotas if I can't obtain the cash.

Repaint? Saw this galant on CarDomain and it gave me an idea.

Anyone know if that dark grey/black is an OEM colour? Any help would be appreciated :D

So my galants is in the garage and I hate having it in there lol. No room to work on it with the garage closed, it's too long!

Gonna be working on my Vr4 spoiler and my suspension.

HELP Needed or Thoughts on clunking noise

On my 7g I have Emusa coilovers and they have been installed for 6 months. For the first few months I didn't have any noise but as days past a clunking noise appeared. Since I'm out of school, I'm gonna try a fix this.

At first I though something was loose and was rattling around. I took out my interior and confirmed nothing was there. So could these be my suspension setup? Has anyone had this kind if problem and how did you fix it?

Thanks beforehand for any help :D

Check sway bar end links and bracket bushings up front and in back if you have added a bar back there. If not tie rods or control arm bushings. The lower ball joint recall I hope has been done.

That turbo looks like an eBay version. Rebuilding those is nearly impossible because they put T3/T4 parts in them and not normal mitsubishi parts. If you pick up a legit mitsu turbo with good wheels that needs a rebuild I can help you out for sure. If you need any parts don't be afraid to ask because I have a ton of stuff.

Thanks for the tip man! I'll check those out when I get back in the garage. Unfortunately I did not get the lower ball joint recall. I was going to ask the dealership about it when I got my lancers oil change but forgot.

For the turbo I just got it in a snap. If rebuilding does come out as impossible, I can use it as a rebuild practice I guess :D

    Low life problems

    -Ripped CV boots
    -Coilover protectors torn
-Ball joint needs to be replaced

Not sure how much it will all cost but I need to get it fixed soon. This is my DD and my other lancer is back in Georgia.

Need to start collecting Suspension?? Parts now, all external mods and my interior are going to be put on hold until this is repaired.

Was having some retarded difficulties but finally got the Vr4 wing to fit.

Sitting on jack stands cause I was adjusting my coils but since some of the boots are ripped it will be like that for awhile :(

Got the car back on the ground and parked outside. Repainted my wheels, put back on the old mud flaps, and the Vr4 wing

Still too low in the front, got to get that adjusted.

Now you need the whole JDM vr4 conversion. I had stock with the vr4 wing and after a week or 2 hated it.

I know, I'm looking out for it everyday basically. My main goal for body wise right now are the vr4 side skirts and I'm not too serious on the viento bumpers

Word of advice, pm triggermauve for jdm parts, you'll get it for about half the price of ebay sellers. I shudder to think you payed that much for the spoiler compared to what I payed for mine.

He will find you good quality parts and plus he's a fellow Galant enthusiast.
