    Timing balance shaft

    wats going on TGC i was wndering how you would time the balance shaft in my 4g64 8g galant. So you get number 1 cyl to TDC then line the balance shaft with marks and stick the screwdriver through hole and if it goes through about 2 1/2 inches its timed. oh and do you have to time the rear balance shaft. thanx guys.

    i take it you figured this out since you posted a question on why it has white smoke?
