I was wondering if the fuel door of the 8G JDM cars are of metal, or plastic like our US cars, and if they are remote opened or push type. Thanks!

well just for the record, I have a 7G JDM and i don't have a metal fuel door but it does open remotely (do u mean, without the use of a key?)

remote is from another location, as in a swtich in the cockpit, usually under the driver seat.

our USDM fuel doors open as you push in on one side of it, and it pops open. easy for gas-looters.

The one on my UK spec 8G V6 has a remote catch beside the base of the drivers seat , next to the trunk release catch. I beleive it is made of metal.
