cali spec cat delete

Apprently my 8g is a cali spec and not a fed spec
I was wondering how I would go about the downpipe cat delete?

Would I need a fed spec ecu?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe so, on my cali spec cars (2.4) there are 2 O2 sensors, on right off the manifold before the pre-cat and one after it, then I have the main cat but no O2 sensors are keeping tabs on it.

I asked my neighbor to take a look and he stated I have 2 o2 sensors.
You drive a cali spec?
Does the pre cat reduce your power output any or affect performance?

I am in the process of swapping to headers, if you are interested in getting some fed spec exhaust manifolds let me know

I have on G with a gutted precat and one with it intact. Cant even tell the difference.

got the headers on, if you want 6g72 fed spec exhaust manifolds let me know (didn't say if you were 3.0 or 2.4 so...)
