flush tranny or just change fluid

I was wondering if should flush my tranny or just drain the fluid from the pan and replace with new fluid. I know with some tranny flushes it would ruin the tranny because of little pieces of build up could block up some passages causing the tranny to stop working. I haven't changed fluid in awhile because I wasn't sure what I should do. Btw I believe I have the tranny with the filter inside the tranny

I've heard that complete flush can be a bad idea. If your car has been serviced by a dealer regularly, then I think drain and refill method won't hurt your transmission.

Flushe myth was busted a long time ago. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The car in the thread I posted above has reached 250k. No issues, running very strong.
