Who has the Ebay N1 cutback exhaust

I know people have been using these here and there. I need a solid review from few members on the system, mainly how it sounds inside while driving and outside while the car is being driven.

My daily needs some exhaust work since the flange St the cat rotted and it broke and I had to rig it temporarily to get me by. So thinking about a cheap catback since I had to cut a good amount of the piping.

    Thanks in advance.

Had it for 7 years no problem since. It has a raspy sound on 4 cylinders though. Sounds great for the V6

Does it drone on the highway?? Is it quiet?? That's what I am really worried about.

It won't drone if you use cruise control

  5. #5
How so?? Holding the throttle steady is the same as cruise control!! Lol

What? You realize cruise control is almost constantly 'accelerating' to maintain speed? Using your foot to maintain speed will be quieter.

That said...a catback with no resonator and crappy N1 muffler will likely be fairly loud.

Thought it came with some sort of resonator. I get the crappy muffler and if it's too loud then I'll swap it out. But I swear it had a resonator. I need to check again.

If it has a resonator that'll help. Regardless I'd just throw in a Magnaflow OE style oval muffler and toss the canister N1 that came with it.

That's the final plan. But I just wanted to throw it on and worry about replacing the muffler later.

Why not head to a muffler shop to re-do the piping and provide with a house muffler or pay the bucks for a MagnaFlow which im sure they'll have also.

At $120 shipped to me, it's cheaper for me to get the eBay system.

It's not a bad catback, and for the price, it can't be beat. Ive had mine for about 3 years so far and it's still as good as new.

It's for the Daily so I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just something to replace my currently hacked and rigged leaking system. I just want to make sure I'm not gonna hate my life on the highway since I commute to school and work everyday.
