    Mafia's back!

What the hell is going on around here? How has everyone been?

So a couple of weeks ago, the transmission on the Galant took a gigantic shit. I was coming back from lunch, waiting to turn left at a red light. Light turns green, and nothing. Car revs, but doesn't go anywhere. I got a tow to the shop, ran some diag to make sure it wasn't electrical, and it wasn't.

For those in Minnesota, the car is for sale for $400 on Craigslist, if you want it for parts.

So with the winter beater down, the Gen Coupe is probably the worst vehicle for winter weather ever. So I did some searching, researching, and digging and traded in the Gen Coupe for this baby.

This thing hauls ass! Completely stock it runs the 1/4 in 13.5, and with a tune you can get it into the 12s easily.

Hey Pete! That new BMW is sharp!

$400 for the G? Damn that sounds tempting.

Doing very well. My daughter is growing incredibly fast. She's already 2!

How about yourself, how are you doing?

Mind sending me pictures through text of the car? My brother is extremely interested.

God dammit Pete, if this came up a couple months ago I would've bought your car instead of my v6.

It's going to a good home, guys. My brother bought it today and we're towing it to his place now. It'll be manual swapped before it hits the road next.

Always good to see them leave where they'll be taken care of and in good hands.

Just ask Will, he was emotional for ivory, but knew she was in good hands.

Damn, nice pick on the BMW man. I've been looking into the 328 or 335 next as well.

Nice bimmer, Pete! Can't tell from the pics, but is it 2-door or 4-door?

Jake driving a Galant? That's a scary thought

    Thanks Jon!

Don't even bother looking for a 328. The engine is nice, but you would regret getting it if you drove a 335.

Thanks Rob! Its a four door sedan. After having the Genesis Coupe, I wanted to go back to having four doors.

That's honestly what I thought too, but Pete said it's a 4-door so I guess that shows how much I know about BMWs

Very nice Pete. Sedan is definitely the way to go for daily driving versatility, and BMW always offers a good mix of performance and luxury. I would eventually like to upgrade my old Infiniti I35 to something newer in the next few years. Funny thing you said the Gen Coupe sucked for winter driving, because I was actually considering the Genesis R-Spec Sedan as a potential replacement, but unfortunately they only offer RWD with the 5.0 I guess I'll have to reconsider my options a few years from now when I actually have the money

Now that is a nice car, congrats. The engine is fantastic in those things, super easy to get extra power out of them. That was the most tempting car I was considering before I changed my mind and decided to come back. Again, congrats!

I would LOVE an R-Spec 5.0! Go drive one, they are amazing! But for winter, they aren't the best... but the 5.0 is a BEAST.

Yup, exactly. Its BMWs term for AWD.
