9g tuning

So I contacted HACKISH by email, and he stated hell sell me the software to tune the 9G,
I can get the cable to hook up to the laptop to do the work.

Anyone have any input?

I just want to make sure im doing this right and not buying needless things.

I was told to buy a Tactrix Openport 2.0
