    KYB budget plan

    Hi everyone,

    actually, help!
I'm trying to find some KYB struts for my 8G, (and probably with some Tein Springs later),
and I've been checking on eBay, it's really confusing.

Some has a good price, but not sure if it's genuine.
I've also seen some comes in a package of all 4 of them,
but the price seems to be higher than buying them separately.
    It's like $40(ish) X 4 separate vs $240(ish) in a package

Can anyone explain how that happen? Is that something I didn't notice should have included in a package but not separately?
Also, any good deal out there that someone can recommend?

    Thank you so very much!

Never noticed that. Well either 250 for all around kybs is a very good deal anyway. If you go to a parts store you're looking at well over 400 for everything.

I bought all 4 from Just Suspension on Amazon for about $190 shipped. No issues with them. I did have to order them separately. The rear shocks are sold together, but the front struts were sold separately.

Hey guys~ I'm going to order them soon, is there anything other than the strut itself and the spring is needed in this project?
What I'm trying to ask is, is it necessary to change those mounting kits, insulators, boots, and bellows together? or just the struts and springs should be good enough?

Depending in the condition of the front top strut mounts. I would change those out too if your budget permits it. everything will be fresh. Oh don't forget you WILL need camber adjuster front and rear.

I'm sorry for bumping the thread. I still haven't made up my mind what shocks to buy. I am also looking at Bilstein Shocks for my Galant. I Will read reviews on KYB.
