car jerks hard going from park to reverse

Just trying to figure out what caused exaclty what my title says. Car drove fine night before. Go to drive today and now I have a jerk. Did kinda hit a puddle last night, but nothing super big to submerge the car. Just your typical splashing out the wheel wells. Car drives fine though still, just reverse.

    Thanks for any ideas.

Time to recheck them codes and see if you have any misfire codes now. Didnt know you had cat issues.. Could be the corporate also.

Yeah, think I'm gonna get my trans fluid changed also. Probably been a lil over a year and a half, but the shop I got to uses synthetic from what I remember
