    Evo8 turbo to a t3manifold

Anyone ever done this? Any mods, solutions to make this work?

I hate the idea to use extra spacers for stock manifold to be away from starter.

I was thinking if anyone ran the thought of using a t3manifold.

    Yes i have searched.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

why not just run a t3 turbo? lots of guys on here are doing so. im going to assume youve already picked up a 16g or something along those lines and dont wanna hack up a manifold?

if your looking to clear the starter without any funky spacers on the manifold why don't you just go with a dsm manifold? the turbo placement is on the opposite side of the starter so no worries.

Is not my personal car. Im building my cousin galant. He got a evo8 turbo kit. With a 10.5hotside. For his setup is the perfect turbo. I want him to use it. But he dont like the idea of spacers with stock manifold. I read some where u can use a evo starter and stock manny and will clear. But found no concrete evidence of anyone done so.

Dsm manifold will fit a twinscroll evo8/9 turbo? I thought it wouldnt fit.

xd thought you had a T3 turbo, A DSM T3 manifold plus that ebay adapter should work, you would still need to see if the o2 housing will clear the PS pump and its going to be tight, and get a downpipe fabricated. Note that if you use the t3 manifold obviously you wont benefit from the twinscroll spooling capabilities of that turbo.
