can't get my car to start need help!!

So I bought this 03 galant that supposedly had a new motor put in but wouldn't start. Get it home it has spark fuel but no compression. So I bought a salvage head had it tested and surfaced and it came out good so I took it home put it in and no start. Now instead to cranking without start I have a weird like broke sounding crank with a 335 and 340 code that it didn't have before, don't know what else to do.

did you check that the belts were turning when you were cranking? ive seen a flex plate just snap in two and when the starter turns it just turns the flexplate and transmission and it wont turn the crank.

those codes are crank sensor and cam sensor codes. are you sure you timed this motor correctly? ive seen people bend the reluctor wheel on the crank and that takes out the crank sensor. just things to check before going any further.
