    2002 Tranny on a 1999?

    So, I have an 1999 es v6 and my tranny died; I am looking for a replacement and I found one from a 2002, but the part code is diferent; the question is, can I still use it? I dont want to spend the money to latter find that it wont work properly. please, any help will be appresiated.
