    Paint repair :/

So the flat spot on my rear bumper right in front of the trunk/license plate holder was cut before I got the car, now I want to fix it. The kicker- I'd rather not sand the whole bumper... also have some spots on the front I'd need to fix. Any tips to "fade in" the paint without sanding the whole bumper?

Will try to post pics when the weather isn't awful...

How much experience do you have with bodywork?

Um, no experience. Been looking at youtube painting tutorials to get (somewhat) educated.

I did the same thing and here is the result: https://www.thegalantcenter.org/show...-I-need-advice. If you want perfection it will either take a lot of practice, redoing, or having a shop do it. Personally, if I were to do mine again, I would take it to a shop to have them feather it correctly. If you do decide to do it yourself, what I would do it get any random part from a junk car and then bang up some of it and try to fix it before attempting it on your own car.
