    What is your gas mileage?

So I have read a few posts related to this topic, and seems like most people really do get a way better gas mileage than my 8G,
it is a 2000 ES L4, mostly city driving, and I can only run like 160ish miles a tank, with 13 gallon filled back in (so 12 mpg?), is it just me or it is common to see??

Looks like it has something to do with the thermostat, got it changed, and runs great on highway, and still testing city, my goal is to hit 200miles for just city...
    be gentle...

Make sure the maintenance is up to date. Also don't weigh the car down with unnecessary things. City I've always hit 220 to 250. Highway its never better than 320 on a 4cyl auto

Ive bested 320 highway, and between 270-280 city.

I averaged about 25mpg hwy in a V6, but my city was around 19mpg. Just depends on how you drive. And condition of your vehicle.

I got around 22-24 MPG in my I4.

But that was as a high school kid, who lived less than 2 miles from both work & school (I don't know why I didn't just walk)

That's also me doing my best to remember information from 2008-10.

Got car at 63k miles, sold at 70k or so.

    Yeah you should walk.

You're causing unnecessary wear & tear on the engine, wasting a buttload of gas & hurting your health.

I run around 20-22mpg city on a 4cyl manual. But I tend to cane it like a Singaporean graffiti artist...

Over the past 8 days, I got an average (rough estimate) 18.97mpg mixed lol.. That included idling for a long while last Saturday so I'm probably getting 19.5-20mpg mixed. I got 252 miles on an almost full tank.

A few weeks ago my lady and I traveled from Covina, CA to Pismo Beach, and averaged about 33mpg cruising 65. After that, it was 70-75 and it dropped to around 27-28mpg.
