Icon10 how long did it take to build your G?

How long did it take you to get your G from stock to what it is now? I was in the project section and saw a few people were buying parts every month so I'm just curious.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

Bought first 8g in 01 used, discovered TGC around 02 and started with the show-ee type chrome mods, 04 went to Mitsu V.S. Suby at E-Town and picked up an Evo head soon after. Years of modding and wont stop until it leaves my possession.

A filipino's number one dream is to own a car before anything else. In the philippines, most private car owners consider their vehicles as an extension of their home but with one differrence: a home is where his wife cooks while a car is where his girlfriend builds a fire. Hmmm...

It's one of those things where I don't think you ever reach a defined end. I can't see myself ever sitting back and deciding that there is nothing left I'd like to do to the car. It's all constantly evolving and I've owned the car for 14 years.
