Air element - Air filter question

    Hi all,

I am having trouble to identify the proper K&N air filter for my car, which is a JDM (World spec?) 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with a 2.5L, 24 valve engine, and the correct filter in the catalog for US spec car won't fit in my intake. I think he OEM part number for the air element in the mitsubishi
    parts catalog is MR266850.

I've tried traditional K&N retailers, they have been very cooperative, but i
haven't received an answer that leads me to my correct filter.

And, just in case there's no K&N filter, any of you guys have a better idea to improve my airflow not considering a CAI?

I will greatly appreciate your help in this matter guys.

You might try to find cars that have the same filter design and get one of theirs if the catalog isn't right.

    try using this

    http://knfilters.com/universal/univsearchin.htm

all u do is put in a description of your stock air filter and then it gives u a part number for a filter.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.
