does anyone know the model number of our transmissions for the 2.4L ............and does anyone know the specs on the stock torque converter on our transmission and whats the biggest we can get on our trannys
its an 4fa22, (or maybe 23.. dont remember.).
if you want to be sure, just read the ID tag on the firewall under the hood.
and the max RELIABLE horsepower it can take is about 170 (although im sure there are plenty out there with more, i wouldnt trust them to run a mile).
our trans cost $4000, just thought you'll like to know. I had mine replaced.
