not super hard... it's probably not a true dual exhaust meaning it is not one exhaust sytem per each bank of cylinders. that look can b done by getting a muffler shop to add a Y pipe to join the second muffler over to the main exhaust piping. look under a honda accord v6 to see what i mean. there is plenty of room on the other side of the spare tire well and gas tank for another muffler, u just have to have a cutout made for the tip.

tru dual on a 4...bad idea...tru dual on a 6...a v6 that is, i can see. uhm you got to plan this out all and well. if not you are gonna be very disappointed. on the 4 i suggest a cat back. you also have to choose your muffler carefully. i mean if you don't u can get somethign that is raspy or something that is too loud. also for the gains, u probably won't see it. the extra piping is heavy. and u might feel a lose in power due to the increase exhaust flow

I dunno about a 4 banger powerwise, but it can be done. I was originally going for duals on my V6 but decided not to.

Yeah guy near me has a Prelude with dual pipes
One is a dummy as you can't see fumes etc on a cold day from one of them
    Very ricey

I think it would look good. Like Reelax said, all you need is a Y-pipe and then another muffler. Also remember that you will want to get the bumper cut out as well so it matches. If you had the extra one haning below the bumper without a cut out....that would be RICE!!!!!!

This has peeked my interest...I might do this on my GTZ. Is there any back pressure loss problems with doing this??? And a hi-flow cat would help to get the extra air through right????

this sparked my interest also. with the opening of my mini speed shop, money for it will be coming in shortly. chances are imma get the exhause cut like just b4 the rear crossmember and drop a Y from there and route it to the mufflers. since the way imma get it makes the pipes exposed, no drop for me...just some body work to give that look...can't risk crushing that pipe, especially with all the off roading i do in the galant

o yea for those who want to know more about dual exhaust, there are numerous informative threads on club 3g, just do a search

i saw where reelax said that he would do the dual exhaust on a v6 and i was wondering how much of a difference it would make hp wise and would alot of mods need to be done.

reelax is going twin turbo so yea its doable for him to see more gains. but on a regular n/a car with no heavy mods...good luck finding ur gains...ur butt dyno won't find it
