use some fingernail polish to clear the corner on the front and the back taillights. It looks much better.
Also, for 17" and 18" wheels, try adapting these: Click Here.
I took a look at these this afternoon and didn't feel like paying $15+ to see if they would work. I'm sure they would. Both are 1:43 scale. I was going to do this but I already jacked the silver Galant model up when I lowered it. Now it doesn't roll anymore.
instead of lowering it you might want to head down to the hobby shop. they gots rims and tires of different sizes. you might want to find some that like have enough rubber to fill in the gaps...to make it look lowered...just a thought.
o yea for tinted windows, you might want to try some blue saran wrap maybe (for that reelax look) or maybe some removable tint. be careful with real tint since the adhesives might interact with the plastic negatively and damage it

as of now no...uhm keep looking. the 8g was available since 1996 so yea after so many years they decided to make a model of it. the 7g wasn't so popular

I lowered mine and had the same problem, I just take the little part holding the doors in place and sanded it where the tires were rubbing and it is running again!!

Rich, i bought one of those modifier models today. It does work but you have to make shift a axel to put the wheels on the Galant model. I bought thin metal train model pieces. The rims are small though, i got the series 1 Eclipse. I'd suggest either getting the Series 2 Integra GSR or Series 2 Eclipse the 18s look like they'd fit better. Be careful using superglue on those wheels too because the superglue removes the paint they used on the wheels.
Either way its going to look phat i'm going to try finish mine by friday.
Hey, where can I find one of those models? Who makes them?
Are you talking about the modifiers or the galants.

If you want a Galant model PM me, i can get them.
If you mean the modifiers eclipse car any local hobby shop should have it.
