audio enthusiasts, please help, new deck is too small

ok, i got rid of my sony xplod (which will be up for sale in a few days) and put this beauty in. the only problem is that the face is a little too small, and the bracket they gave me to frame the face doesn't fit at all. how can i clean up this? i need to put in some sort of trim here, help me out guys. hmmm did you put the brackets on the face then put it through the big cover??? that way the brackets will protrude more, that might work

ah its easy, just read up on this thread a bit

just mess around with it a bit, its fun and not as hard as you think. my center console piece is in a bit of a mess, i was almost done with it, then someone broke into my car and tried to steal my radio and broke my bracket all up(they didnt get my radio BTW )

i should have mine done by the end of the week if the weather permits

Wait Im confused...the trim for the tv face will only fit if the mitsubishi trim is removed? Just get a dremel and dremel out the mitsu trim to make it fit.

but thanks a lot for the help, the new deck i'm getting is the exact same size. i think i'll use the dremmel idea, it sounds the best, and it would look really pro.

6.5" in dash motorized flip down LCD TFT monitor with 4 TV tuners, one video input, audio preouts, optical out for dts or dolby digital sound. complete EX sound control. NAV control input, TV antenna relays, aux inputs, audio inputs. it's quite the beast. in dash DVD/VCD/SVCD/MP3/JPG/MIDI player.

muuuust have niiitrouuus. i'll miss the dvd player, but i'm soooo slooooow.
