My freeway cruise speed is at 110 MPH
The car is actually really silent up to that speed, when you go above it gets a little bit noisy though.

The max speed for the 99 v6 before feul cut off is 124mph or 200kmph. This was tested using a GPS while maintaining top speed. Also verified from the mitsu dealership. I've done this quite a few times on 1&9 N Expss lane. so if ur around and see a black 8G zzip by.. its me ;-)
ive only got the little 2.0,4cyl 4G63 engine in my 8G and i can top 130mph,
hit 140 on gsp in my 99 eclipse before it went back on lease, it was the scariest thing of my life. my dad hit 200 on route 17 in ny when he was driving a ferrari f40 and said he didnt notice the speed from the handling but the view was dizzying.
Well, this damned civic egged me on, and I hit 136 at the fuel cut-off. Here is a pic of my Heads Up Display showing the Peak speed/rpms. Sorry if its a bit blurred, but had to take it with no flash.

i hit 125 the other night with the 5spd, and it still had some kick left to go, but i ran out of room. it pulled pretty hard the whole way there

Thats right, Ive done way past 128 coming home from a Galant meet. It was about 4am and I was following Peano, Titan, when I took the wrong exit. Considering that I didnt know how the fuck to get out of that area, I flipped a bitch and sped off. Needless to say I caught up real quick (I wasnt able to turn around for a few miles).
130 in the 7g untill me, jessie, and his friend almost hit a deer haha. 130 in the talon too till I foulled a plug and my oil dipstick shot up and sprayed oil all over :lauging:

I seriously would like to know how you guys breaking 120 know how fast you are going seeing as though the speedo only goes to 120. I am NOT being a smartass, I am just curious.
Oh and the most I have done is about 115 on I-10 heading to San Antonio from Houston. seems like it took forever to get there. I did not reach fuel cutoff I bagged off b/c I had a bad vibe about the laws and about a mile ahead of me was a state trooper heading the opposite direction.

I hit 120 like 2+ months ago. That was pretty damn fun. I love hitting rt. 287 getting close to NY because you can speed and not worry about cops. They don't have enough space to park on the sides, and they're never on the road so its fun as hell.
I hit 117 one night on I-4 just north of Orlando, ran out of straightaway tho, it took like a full minute to move from 110 to 117 tho.

Ive hit 130+ in a V6 03 gtz, I had a Civic Hatch-back tailing me.
no offense krispy, but wholly crap man, who tests the fuel cutoff point while they are on a trip with their wife and daughter :?: , sounds kind of sick to me! :shock:
