update on my suspension as well

Eibach pro kit on KYB AGX struts. no camber kit, tires dont lose tread quickly enough to need one. front upper and rear lower strut bar. 17x7 wheels with Toyo Proxes T1-S in front and Khumo Ecsta ASX in the rear. handles great, but with quick back and forth manuevering (i.e. driving through cones) there's way too much body roll. i miss the coilovers, but i'm glad i can get over speed bumps. it's less edgy on high speed turns and exhibits more control, but again, way too much body roll.

    KYB AGX Struts
    Eibach Ground Control

    18x8 TSW Catalunya
    Nitto 555 ZR 225-40-18

Dumb ass eibach people didn't give the proper instructions on how to put together the rear shocks, so through trial and error i figured it out. First time i've been dropped, and it's awesome. Ride is great. Not too sure how much i dropped it, but i know i'll need a camber kit.

    Eibach Pro-kit
stock struts for over a yr. now
    no camber kit
    17x7 Konig Spec
    205/40/ZR17

if i don't get the TEIN Damper Kit, i'd like to just settle for the Skunk2's and AGX's. or if i can't even get that, just the Eibachs and AGX's.

MmM....just got my suspension upgraded today...so as of now I am riding on

Megan lowering springs 2" all around
KYB AGX Struts set to 3 all around
    Some Generic Strut bar..works great.
17" 7 spoke ICW rims wrapped in Toyo Proxies FZ4's

    **Review**

Rides like a dream...I love the stiffness of the ride...body roll has been reduced and it's just over all a great ride now, I fell in love with my car all over again. It's awesome, I am super pleased.

My car's head gaskets requires more torque than your honda puts out...

me too! i just lowered on Friday. have some minor vibrations, still not sure if it's because of the common driveshaft issue or alignment. time (aka tire wear) will tell. ooo i just wanna go driving all the time! haha

    simple setup:
    Tein S. Tech
    KYB GR-2

planning on getting the 3g eclipse strut bar. still waiting until i have more cash so that the ~$50 won't seem like anything since the bar isn't that necessary.

edit: oh yeah, the ride. the ride is very nice, higher quality like. like a bmw or MB. but a teeny bit bouncy on the bigger dips and the aforementioned minor vibration at certain speeds. otherwise its super.

Finally I can add my own.

    17" TSW Rapid Rims
    215/45Z17 front & 225/45Z17 rear
    2001 ES
    Tein S-Tech V6 (even thought I have an I4)
    Stock Struts
    New strut mounts
Tantrum Element Motorsport Upper Strut Bar
Tantrum Element Motorsport Lower Tie Bar (yet to be installed)
    Home Depot Rear Camber Kit.

Comments: The ride is really close to factory. I would recomend that you go with KYB struts. I didn't because I had brand new struts installed 4 months before. But cornering is 100x better and stopping distance was reduced 11 feet. I'm happy.

    01 ES
    Tein SS
    Freedom Design strut bar
    Stock wheels
Front/rear camber kit (not sure brand, discount tires buy/install)
Accident. Deemed Unfixable. Got a check for it.

    Re: Your Suspension Setup

[LIST][*] 1994 GS, 4G64 DOHC[*] Intrax Lowering Springs for 7G Galant[*] KYB AGX for 7G Galant[*] Need Alignment[*] Exel DL-46 17x7, +42mm[*] Toyo Proxes 4 205/45-17[*] Energy Suspension Bushings for 2G Eclipse (not installed)[*] The front springs were difficult to install. The dead coils made the use of cheap compressors impossible. Had to buy hydraulic compressor to finish the job, but was still cheaper than paying a shop to do it. Handles excellent, even with current H-rated 15" tires and factory alloys. Car is exponentially more confident on the freeway... needs more anti-sway though.

    Update on my G..

    19" KMC SR Racing wheels
Tein S-tech lowering springs 1.8" drop in front 1.5' in the rear...
    Factory Strus
    Sits nice!
    Before drop
I could fit 4-5 fingers in the fender gap
    After drop
I could fit 2 fingers int he fender gap
Ride is not ROUGH at all....compared to coilovers... 8)

1999 Galant ES 5 speed, EVO powered

Shocks/Springs: Tein Super Street coilovers w/pillow ball mounts

    Wheels: ASA AR1's 17x7 +48 offset

    Tires: Yokohoma AVS ES-100's 215/45/17

I havent rode on the rims and tires yet, the suspension i had in the car with stock wheels and tires and it handled great. the ride height is a little lower then i would like, I may switch to JIC Magic coilovers or just get custom sized springs for my Tein's

    2003 ES, i4

    tein s-tech, stock shocks

    no camber kit neded

    18" g games 77w by rays, 7.5" wide, +42 offset, 19 pds, gunmetal color

225/40/18 falken ziex512. compared to similar tires i had, falkens are thinner dispite their width rating. the 225 are more like 215 and the 215 are like 205

dc sports strut bar, no rolled fenders

stock struts on tein springs are holding up pretty nice dispite driving on nyc streets for 6 months so far. wish my front end could be 1/2"-1" lower. tho i scrape on 10% of driveways already
