    More Fuel Questions

Of those that are already Boosted. I just wanna know if there is a difference between a regular Rising rate FPR and these Vortech FMUs. I know the FMU is designed to Adjust the boost only when the car becomes subject to boost. Now based on the directions Way I've ready it the FMU is going in the same place as the FPR. Not is it possible to have the chain go from:

    Fuel Line-----Fuel Rail----Stock FPR----Return Line-----FMU------FPR

Or does the Adjustable FPR become obsolete?

I am pretty psotive that our stock FPR does 1:1. Therfore if u add bigger injectors , u need to raise fuel pressure.
Now with 1:1 fpr, knowing that our ecu were not pre-programmed for boost, fpr will change the injector pulse a bit but it won't have much effect on fuel pressure. U want to increase it itn the way that your fuel injectors won't be maxed out. That is why it is better perhaps to go withe fte Fmu on NA cars that were turboed.
Now the FMU adjusts fuel pressure in relation to boost. For example, if you buy a 8:1 FMU, it will add 8 lbs of fuel for every lb of boost. However, beware of high fuel pressures - anything greater than 87 psi is a lot.
