I have 45,500 on my 99 ES and everything is working fine with no major problems or rattles. The Galant is holding up well and the paint looks brand new.

When I got my 2000 ES last November it had 23K on it. Now it has almost 40K on it. :shock: I've had that car in 6 states the past 3 months!

I got 39,981 miles, on my 2000 Galant, Im so close to hitting the big 40K Im kinda scared, it means Im getting old. I hope the Galant can hold up once I put my supercharger on. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Question, what exactly does the dealer do when they perform the 40k mile service?? I went in and the car turns better like maybe the power steering fluid was bad or something. But when I looked at the bill all they did was charge me 20 for the service and 8 bucks for the engine oil?????

So can someone tell me exactly what they do when you reach 40k????

almost 42k on my 2k1 gtz. 1st set of stock tires lasted for 38k miles. could have gone longer if it weren't for that piece of scrap metal i picked up in the sidewall!!!!
