To paint or not to paint that is the question

I got my CF Evo hood from VIS and now im debating whether I should paint it or not. I got a dover white color G and I dont think I like the black and white contrast when the hood goes on, but then if i paint it to match my car i lose my braggin rites that its CF hood. What do you think? Got any pics of dover whites with both painted and unpainted? Thanks

I don't have any pics. But I personally do not like the look of a CF hood on any car color other than black.

yeah i know what you mean when i saw the hood in person I started having my doubts on painting it. Should I have the body shop put it on or is it easy enough to put in on yourself, I mean were there any fitment problems?

IMO, if you have any chrome around the car, i dont care if its just a speck of chrome, paint it. Chrome and CF are just an oxymoron. On the other hand, if your going for that supercool racy look like yours truly....then go unpainted all the way!!!!

Nice ride cencee, Im putting on the same body kit as yours the only thing that i dont like with that kit is the space where the grill is supposed to be. I wanna put on a JDM style grill and put mesh in the back but I think there would be a lot of fitment problems and a lot of cutting to do. I just realised this is a whole nother topic

thanks for the copmliments..... i dunno if u can get any type of grille in there...if u mess with it u may run into problems cuz thats 2 of the main bolts that holds the whole bumper together to the car......im trying to find mesh that covers up more so the back wont show as much,,,but if u gonna put a whole grill in there be careful.....

ok ok, i admit, cali's ride is an exception.....but in most cases its weird...

It looks good on Cali's ride because the rest of it is black too. And then there's just the fact that Cali's car is so badass that anything would look good on it.
