Red in the Taillights

If I missed this in a previous post, I apologize up front.

Is the red in the tail lights of the 95 model a film, or is the plastic actually red? I am argueing with my roommate. I thought it was the actual plastic, but he says it is a film that can be removed like the front corners.

i thought it was really red. get ur friend to take a bat onto the tails. if its a film. u buy new tails. if its plastic, he can buy u new ones and u get ur pride...

looks like its all red plastic, the only thing i see removeable is the rear reflector under the signal lamps
