    Fog LIght mod revisited

Has anyone tried the fog light mod that requires building an electronic toggle switch and was successful in making it work. I built the circuit and installed but nothing happened. When I disconnected the common ground to the circuit, I the relay disengaged. If i hooked it back up, the relay would engage again, w/o the fog lights coming on. The fog lights would not come either way. However, when I took the circuit off the car, the fog lights would work again. Can anyone help me determine what might be wrong with the circuit, or how I could test it. I am fairly confident that the circuit was built correctly. I went over it several times.

    Can anyone help?

PM DjScript. It's his design. Sounds like you may have had it hooked to the wrong wire from the foglights, but just PM DJ.

I was thinking about that. I am glad you responded.
i had it on a common grond from the circuit board to an external battery (which was grounded) off the car to see if it would work. When I get home, I will try it on the battery in the car.
I will also have to test the circuit to verify voltage and current flow (must be careful)
    All suggestions are welcomed.

    Thanks.
