    mesh grill on 97 G

I have seen pictures of mesh grills on 96 G's and even the newer models, but was wondering if anyone had a picture they could post of one on a 97. Wanted to see how it would look before I actually did it.

97-98 Galants don't do well with mesh grills (if you are thinking of replacing the plastic ones. I spent a whole weekend on this and came up with nothing worth doing. The problem is the mounting points inside the holes is akward. I suppose you could cut them out and use liquid nails to hold the new mesh in, but it would look really recessed and strange.

The only reason i was thinking of doing it is because of the simple fact that mine is broken and missing a piece i hate it.

Oooo, actually, I was thinking of cutting out all the slats, and epoxying in hex plastic.

    I may still do it.
