    Engine swap

I know this has probably been discussed a million times, but i haven't found anything explicit. I wanted to do an engine swap to the 4g63T. However since this is my daily driver, and i can't really afford to forget anything or break anything, and i'm new to this whole modding thing, i was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what i'd need. would i need a new ECU? any new hoses or anything? is it really as easy as buying a rebuilt engine w/ head and swapping them?

also, any recommendations on where i can pick one up? i've found some on www.automotiveengine.com. any recommendations on what year to get one from?

Just check out both of the turbo posts. Especially post "turbo #2) it talks mainly about engine swap, so does the other tubo post. Also look in Galant DOHC post.

if you are "new" to modding... dont' Dive into turbo motors...

it's like doing a swan-dive into the shallow end..... someone's gunna get hurt.

it Took me a good amount Of time to learn the Ropes of the ol' 4g63...

take your Time.... own a 4g64 for a couple years...

hang out with your local DSM crowd....absorb some knowledge

    then... Get into it.
