custom headlight covers

hey all i just started on some custom headlight covers for my G, but need a bit of help, heres what ive done so far (in about 20 minutes lol)

Ive got the molding and cutting down pretty well, but i cant think a way to dye it. i was thinkin the rit dye would work, but what would be a big enough container? any ideas? any help would be MUCH appreciated

planning on doing it a light black, so its still translucent. i dont want anything as dark as the GTS headlight covers or nightshades... unless nightshades can be done lightly? ive never used it... thanks in advance

I would have to say if you can get a big rubbermaid container that is deep enough and wide enough to stick that in there and dye it. You may want to go to like a home depot or maybe a wal mart and see if they got anything.

And the rit dye is what must of the members on here have been using.

i thought that too... but dont u have to heat it?
