Would Brake upgrade cause Front/Rear Bias??

    Hi there,

There has been talk about upgrading rear drums to disc, upsizing of front rotors/calipers to bigger ones and even all round fitment of Evo Brakes.

With a normal front wheel drive vehicle's braking ration of front/rear set at around 70/30 or 60/40 (estimated), would there be any adverse effect, like the rears snatching harder than the fronts causing the car to spin?

If this was the case, would it be possible to alter the front/rear braking ratio at all?

Or this ratio thingy would not be of a concerned at all?

Been thinking of this for awhile, hope someone is able to enlighten me!

    Cheers!

    Yup

Yes, all of this comes into place when considering such things. There are some ways you can get around it by 'tuning'.

I"ve about got the wraps on the 3G Eclipse kits which aslo fit the late model Galants so there are options for you with front kits if you are looking.

they make adjustable proportioning valves that adjust that front to rear ratio and even left and right if need be.
