I am still fighting this. I am hoping all of you can help me pick this out. I am still on the muffler subject. I have talked to several people and it is evening out to either get a borla muffler or an apexi n1. I dont have a clue which one to pick. I have the v6 galant with CAI. What should i pick????

I've heard the Apexi is louder, and the Borla is more mellow and can drone. If you're looking for power gains, they're not going to differ much as Reelax has pointed out. If the rest of your exhaust is completely stock, you will see virtually no gains at all over the factory muffler. Just choose one based on the sound you're looking for.

the apexi will be louder. the n1 was made to be loud. the borla will be quieter. and chances are, the borla will be an oval style muffler so it will have more sound muffling qualities such as insulation to make the exhaust quieter than the n1
loud is fun!! i vote apexi
I say get the Borla, the apexi is cool and and a really great exhaust, but after a while you will get tired of it being so LOUD..
