Cigarette Adapter

For some reason... I bought my car and the light/adapter doesnt work... The light goes on around it... I checked the fuse and still nothing.. What do you think it could be?

maybe at one time the dash was taken apart or something. check the connections in the back of the lighter. make sure its getting power and that it is connected firmyl into the lighter
