02 Galant/Eclipe Intake????

I think I remember reading that a aftermarket intake for a 4cyc. 3g eclipse will fit the 4cyc. Galant. I was wanting to know if this is true and is it a perfect match or do any mods have to be done?

as long as the eclipse intake is for a 2000 or up
nothing else needed

to piggyback from the last post. its recommended things are like this

1999-2001 Galant use 2000-2001 eclipse intake
2002-2003 galant use 2002-2003 eclipse intake

i mean it'll fit anyways its just that the moounts are different for 2002+ for some reason.

just make sure you buy a 4 cil intake if you have a 4 and a 6 cil intake if you have a 6
