all i know is that i heard that they have really loud somewhat ricey sounding mufflers and alot of the things they say they have they don't even make anymore so call first and find out.

hey, if you do end up calling them about it, post what they say because as far as i know the v6 and i4 have the same exhaust after the cat so it should fit both... right? correct me if im wrong, of course

the routing between the i4 and the v6 is the same. but in teh aftermarket world, chances are, the v6 will have slightly bigger piping than the i4.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

I have an OBX muffler, and yea its loud as hell. Personally never heard of an obx catback but hey I guess Im out the loop. There quality is pretty good, no rust nothing. On my I4 I went up to 2.5' piping, I believe v6's go up to 3'

    Did I mention its loud.

if this is the same one as sold by www.mufflertech.com , then can you quiet an exhaust by taking out the silencer and packing in more silencing material (steel wool or fiberglass) and then reinserting the silencer to make it quieter? Has anyone tried this and is it even possible?

If you get it let us know how it fits and installation ease, etc...

I was looking at the OBX axle back b/c I'm lazy and I really don't want to spend that much time on it. We already know there won't be any performance gains to speak of so I'm interested in it more for looks and sound...

I have the obx Bolt on Exhaust sold by Muffler Tech and it's tight as hell. Look tight and sounds really good!

Yeah, I'm gonna buy this if it gets a good review and is easy to install. Whoever picks one up should write a nice article and post a sound clip. Happy Hunting.

For those with axle back... Is the axle back obnoxously loud? If so can you "pack " more silencing material in it to quiet it down? How was muffler tech or the tuning depot to deal with?
