you can peform this mod but, i would revert everything to stock when it starts to get cold

All the mod requires is removing the hose, so if you did it you could always just plug it back in before it gets cold.

the v6...go premium, with the i4 you could stay with regular....

JTZ- I looked at the hoses for the mod on the TB, it would certainly be very easy to bypass/connect when in hot/cold weather.

When in bypass mode, just let any coolant drain out or should you cap it off(on the TB). I would think that if I were to let it drain out, then it might get crusty in the channel around the TB.
