should i put a sport muffler on??

i have a gsr intake and just did my ngk plug and wire tune up..........do u think its worth it to put a muffler on?......i was thinkin of that one penotation has.....or a 3a racing one..i dont want to spend mor than a hundred bucks.........do u think ishould put one on..?......i just dont want the sound to end up driving me nuts..but if i get about 5 hp it will be worth it

If you get a striaght through muffler it will increase your performance and to get even more get a whole striaght through 2.5in exhaust set up.But that costs more so i'd say go with the muffler.And as long as you dont get one with a huge open tip the sound shouldnt be that bad.

the only problem with the straight through and most exhaust mods is you lose a lot of back pressure. You will notice a drop in torque off the line. Mid to high range power is nice and the sound is awsome! Just thought you might like to know

can u recomend the best place or manufacturer for the dollar?.i want to spend about 100 i was thinkin 3a racing or otto racing like pennotation.as long as its straight through does it really matter?

i got one of the 99 dollar mufflers, and i absolutely love it. everytime i go to the mall on friday or saturday nights, people tell me to revv it up, not that i expect them to be impressed, but it seems like 85% of the people like it a lot

i wouldnt suggest getting an exhaust. it doesnt give you that much HP. it'll just be louder and whats the point of sounding loud and being slow.
