    Signs of tranny slippage?

What exactly would be a sign of tranny slippage? (automatic)

Stuttering is usally an air/fuel/electric problem correct?

A tranny problem would be loss of gear, clanging/clicking when shifting, lack of proper time shifting... no?

I got someone telling me they think my problem is actually my tranny and not an air/fuel issue.

Studdering can be caused by a messed up torque convertor I believe

If it was the torque convertor when would it be most obvious? I've been noticing more stuttering during downshifts/braking over upshifts/accelerating.

My idle has now dropped to about 400 RPMs now too... need to install my afc asap
