What wheel/tire size should I get??

I'll be hunting for some 17/18" wheels sson for my 2000 GTZ. I want to keep the costs down to a minumum so I'm leaning towards the 17's right now. Can someone give me insight as to waht tire and wheel size fits nice? I was thing 17x7 with 225/45's?? I like the Moda R6, but found something at www.discounttiredirect that I liked and they were on sale for $100. What tires you guys like in that size?? Thanks All!!

I'll just say, visit http://wheelmax.com/ if you want to keep your costs down. Most wheels under $1000 for 17's with tires. I'd say use a 215/45 tire with your 17's. Go with the Kuhmo brand.

You can also visit http://wheelboutique.com/ as they give TGC members 10% off all orders.

I forgot. Wheelmax uses 205/40-17's with their packages. Technically, it's a 1 plus, plus size wheel and it should be 215/45-17, as a stock V6 Galant uses 205/55-16's. A 2 plus, plus size would be 225/40-18.
