    I believe so..

My buddy just put new lifters in his 92 Talon TSi and that damn car purrs now! His was knocking loader than an Mitsu engine I have ever heard in my life, loud enough to throw a knock code.
So if they do fit, I have first hand proof that they really do work.

Not the hardest job in the world, but I would have someone with a vast knowledge of engine's there when you do it in case anythin should go wrong.

my engine recently started to ake a knocking noise whenever i started it up. like something was rattling under the hood and i cant locate it. it only does it until i run the engine on the road for a while, and it only does it in drive or reverse.... could this be the problem? or am i lookin at something else as the problem?

My question is are all lifters in these 4cyl the same? Arent all the second gens 2.0L? Ours are 2.4s and the internals are a little different. Does this make a difference in the case of lifters or no?

than for the sound clip. thats not the noise im thinkin of, the tapping i have, but that sounds like another noise my engine is making.. i thought that was my belts though, which i'm planning on changing soon....
