We have a lockup torque converter? Or is it only on the 2000 GTZ?

well. i know my car has traction control. i accidentally floored it once from a stop, and the orange TCL light comes on. im guessing its 2000+ option?

I have a Tazzo. Today I tried out my G. I think the Tazzo reads a bit high. I got 8.6 as my best 0-60. My best 60ft time was 2.6. Those times are the best of any car I have tried the Tazzo on including an V6 Eclipse convertible.

My 2001 ES I4 with 52,000 miles does a painful 0-60 in 7.9 seconds stock.

Nah - that was the "TLC" light - warning you to take Tender Loving Care of your car

Funny this was posted now. I just timed my car getting on the highway from a stop my 0-60 was 8 seconds. (was timing it b/c I just had it serviced)

Felt pretty good to me and didn't feel the need to put my foot through the floor.

sorry friend, but no it doesnt. thatd be a good run for my v6, and no way in hell a 4cyl galant out accelerates a 6cyl.

The time really depends if you get out and help it out by pushing it or not.

There is no way that a stock 4 banger is better than the 6...must be some kinda mixup.

yeah, definatly, raced my friends 8G I4 and killed him, then those races with jet blak i get killed. car and driver magazines are innacurate as shit, because there's no way a V6 8G pulls 60 in over 9 seconds. its simple logic.
