ok ive been checking out this forum for a while but never really posted and im stuck now. heres my problem:

got 2g eclipse head and my plan was to go turbo im thinking back to my old dsm days and im like hell yea 2.4 4g63 :twisted: but then i started thinkin some more about back then and how i hate boost lag.

now im thinking all motor no boost lag maybe not as much horsepower but i think i could be happy with that.

and ultimatly my question:

does anyone have experience with tunning the 4g63 head on the 4g64 block N/A?

only person i knew that used the 2g(or any dohc head) NA was Moosh. and he had a heck of a time with things. eventually he went back to stock due to all his problems.

but on the other hand, i know of a few people that have sucessfully done the head swapped with turbo.

you must remember that we are FWD and 2.4L DOHC with a small turbo will leave you with little to no turbo lag. I myself WANT turbo lag, its the only way to gain traction with our gay FWD...
