my magnaflow is waaaayyyy 2 quiet on my v6 what can i get

what can i get thats loud and sounds good? i got a magna flow muffler with tip put on and no more resonator and its way to quiet. What do u guys suggest for a good can style muffler that is loud and good sounding for a V6 for a good price.

Wait a bit, get a full magnaflow cat back, add some headers, that will give the 6er a nice sound.

remove your cat and muffler, just run it straight pipe.

it'll sound like shit, but somehow i don't think you'll think so.

please don't do this. It will sound like shit, and your car will stink to high heaven.

Just because something's not loud doesn't mean it's not fast, remember that. If you make it too loud, you lose one of the best qualities of your galant...the nice, quiet ride. Just stick with magnaflow, they make very nice mufflers that are high flow, but queit.

I have the Magnaflow on my i4 7g and its plenty loud for me. I still have stock exhaust piping too.

get headers, a high flow cat, and cat back with the magnaflow and it will louden up, you will see some gains too...

or if you just want something louder, sell the magnaflow and get a apexi n1 style or something, i hear those are loud
    7g for life!

those are loud in that bzzzzzz bing bing bzzz pop pop Ricer-Out Honda kind of way. I would recomend something OTHER than an N1 style muffler.

be thankful your car isn't loud. it's not something you'll want to put up with on an every day basis, trust me.

but if you must have something loud go for B&B's Eclipse cat-back and have a few extension put on it for your car. They have soundclips at their site. www.bbtriflo.com

i got a magnaflow on my i4 and it's not loud but it's nice i would love for it to be deeper and sound like its got more balls on it but i dont have V6 or a V8 so im happy with what i got. like the others say get header and a catback i would suggest stick with your muffler get the ripp header and get 3.0 piping from the header back it will sound hella louder . and if you dont already have an intake get one( Injen racing division CAI or AEM CAI) it helps out alot trust me. i am personaly going with 3 inch piping from the header back with the ripp header then the SDS.

Breaker....After awhile you learn to tune out the lound sounds I personally cut my muffler off and ran a straight pipe but then decided that was ghetto and finally fork out the money to have a custom catback done to my car. Still loun, but no where near as loud withe straight pipe. Only cost me about $400 to have it done and next week for another $200 he is going to dual exhaust it for me.

Man I swear you sound like a ricer at heart. If you want a loud muffler why did you get a magnaflow? They are known for making the most hp for the least "ricer" effect. If you really want to be heard just get a new muffler OBx or tannabe (ms) Loud and cheap, hell I'll by the magnaflow from you, oh never mind you put a tip on it....

As far as spending all that money on headers and straight piping why bother, its no point spend that money on stickers or something.....

u guys give me so much shit

god i get so much shit, my preferance is to have it louder. I wanted to be classy, and sound good. Thats why i got my magna flow i have a small tip on it and it looks really classy so i succeeded. BUT 2 sound my car has some balls. I think ill get a rice can and if its to loud or ricy ill put on back on the magna flow or sell it to one of guys who loves the quieter/classy muffler.

loud an obnoxious is like the antithesis of classy.

why bother buying another muffler? if you want your car to "have balls" (read: sound like shit) just run the straight-pipe like i initially told you to do. i have a feeling it's just what you're looking for.

edit: and for VA_G(can'treadtherestsincethereisn'tapostrecapined it) that's not calling "tuning loud sounds out." That's called "gradually going deaf."

Oh and if you know your car is fast, you don't need to trick yourself into believing it is with an overly loud exhaust. Why do you think so many hondas are ear-drum rupturing loud? because most of them are slow. How loud do you think an SL600 or SL55 AMG is? Not very...but they will both blow the doors off 95% of the cars on this site.

haha it's not 100...itsn't somebody around here running 11's?
I think that an SL600 runs a little faster than an SL55 AMG, somewhere in the low 13's stock. I could be wrong though

oh, i thought it would be faster than 13, and whos running 11's?

yeah i am wrong all the time. lol. Just ask anyone who knows me. I don't know anything about turbos, or pistons, or brake specific fuel consumption, or really just cars in general. In fact, what the heck's a car? Can anyone explain that to me?

Lmao, although your comparing German Luxury class Touring car with v12 some with s/c to a Watered down Jap car...correct me if Im wrong but Integra's would recieve the same treatment by the same cars in question?
