    coilover vs. springs/struts

what, exactly, is the difference between buying coilovers vs. buying new springs and struts? why are coilovers so much more expensive?

Coilovers - Offer flexibility..with them you are able to adjust your ride height on all 4 corners.. normally 0-4"

Springs- Drop the car a specific distance.. normally from 1.4-2.2 (estimate)

Struts- Option to replace with eith Coilover or Spring setup.. will improve the ride quality.. normal bounciness with coilovers or springs with stock struts..

Hope this helps.. if not.. DO A SEARCH!

yeah, that was pretty much it. just make sure you dont get shitty coilovers like i did, or else it'll slam your ride down to the ground and you'll be bouncing all over the place, despite the insane handling quality.

out of curiosity, how much work is involved in adjusting the ride height? is it just loosening/tightening a bolt or two or is it more complicated than that

Very simple... jack up a corner, loosen a screw.. twist to desired height , tighten screw.. the lower..

    just that simple..
